Well after my delayed review due to playing it here it is. FF11 seems to be no different from what was already out. The graphics of the game have been improved if you have a HDTV and its true you can see the mountains and what have ya from a father distance but that’s about it (I’m trying to eat pasta while typing this) for any really noticeable changes. If you have a reg. TV you notice sometimes things off in the distance disappear and come back. The game still is as fun as always and you actually still can get really addicted. Playing on a new server was fun since there was no level 75's (that’s good and bad) and the prices on things were still decent and not jacked up. The one-on-one chat is handy when you and your buddy want to go out on your own and cause trouble. It is really fun trying to run from one country to another (Windurst to Sandy can take almost 2hrs.) and seeing what all you can laugh at, and run in fear from. People are often past player from the PC or PS2, and having them around if your a noob is really handy when your about as confused as a 90 year old man playing on the Nintendo Revolution. This game has many extras to offer, like Tetra Master and many downloads, like the Xbox 360 Marketplace. The PlayOnline server has a place to trade pics, chat, and word RPG's that can be really fun since you don’t have to wait. Well this is MY review and I do think you should try to get the beta before the real game so you can see for yourself if its worth paying 13-15 (currency here) a month. I myself would but that’s because I’m an RPG freak. I give the FF11-beta a 5-5 Also for a FYI: *You get to keep your characters *You play free until launch *Everyone will mix in with the PC and PS2 at that time as well. |
