| Dead Rising has us confused. Where it first looked like a serious, atmospheric, moody zombie horror, it now appears to be more of a hack 'n slash comedy gorefest. Also, some screenshots really do not look next gen. However others, showing impressive textures and blood effects, leave us wondering why everything in the game doesn't look this good.
