| Alan Wake is an action horror title that looks set to intrigue and entice an unsuspecting audience into it's virtual world. Almost a movie-like plot, some might have said. Funny, that.. The domain name AlanWakeMovie.com forwards to AlanWake.com, the official site for the game. So? Anyone can redirect a domain name to a site of their choice. Well, checking the registration details offers more concrete evidence that a movie will in fact be released. Remedy Entertainment, developer of the game in question, own both domain names. This acts as confirmation that an Alan Wake movie has at least been contemplated by those behind the upcoming Xbox 360 title. The underlying niggle is, do game-movie tie-ins actually produce the goods? The answer is usually no, but the premise of Alan Wake as an encapsulating horror-drama suggests it could make the transition from TV screen to big screen with more grace than most.
