| In our latest poll, we're probing our readers to find out their opinions on next-gen gaming. What sets Xbox 360 games apart from the previous generation of Xbox 1 and PS2? Some may jump up and shout "Graphics!", but as we've seen, some games don't make the most impressive visual headway. We're offering the following choices as to the key factor separating Xbox 360 games from the original Xbox: Graphics Sound AI Gameplay Immersive Storyline The whole package How about the talk about PGR3 polygon count before the game was released? Kameo: Elements of Power has it's own soundtrack website, showing that our ears are feeling the love. Apparently, Mass Effect is "Next-generation gaming defined" - it seems to offer a great storyline. Prey looks like it may offer impressive AI, but can any 1 factor be singled out as the root of next-gen? Be sure to vote on our poll, which can be found at the left side of the site, or visit our Poll page for results of older polls. Interestingly, our last poll that picked readers' brains on the issue of External HD-DVD, suggested that money is the deciding factor. 45% will pick up an external drive if the price is right. 22% will grab theirs no matter what, while others will opt for a dedicated standalone HD-DVD player, or just not bother! |

| To be really gripped by a game, it needs a great storyline. Graphics are obviously the first thing most people notice, but factors like Sound often go unnoticed. A great soundtrack can pull you right into a game and get the adrenaline pumping. | |||
