| In a recent article on EEtimes, David Carey investigates the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, with some interesting results on the value of its constituent parts. The total price of components came to just $11, some $39 less than Microsoft are currently charging for a Wireless Controller. Well, we did know that MS loses money on consoles and makes it back on software titles, but who would have expected such profits were to come from staple accessories like this? Down with M$, I hear you cry. Hey though, we know they don't sell these consoles for the sheer fun of it. | |||
