| The sinister side of Xbox 360's arrival in the US has emerged in the past 24 hours, with news of armed robberies and street attacks to boot. One 17 year old boy was assaulted and robbed of his brand new Xbox 360 premium console, just minutes after picking it up at midnight yesterday. The boy was attacked by two males around 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, when stores nationwide began selling the new Xbox system. The attackers took the game valued at about $450 and fled on foot. The boy suffered minor injuries to his face, police said. Assault isn't enough for 360-desperate hoodlums however, so armed robbery became the order of the day. In Stafford, Virginia, an EB store was held up at gunpoint for a mere 2 Xbox 360 systems. The thief was then pursued and apprehended by police. Guys, why didn't you just get in the queue? | |||
