Whilst browsing a PS forum I noticed a few PS fanboys flaming a guy stating that MS had planned to have 2 SKU's for 2.5 years and the fanboys argument was that MS got sucked in to offering two seperate SKU's because of PS's President, Kutaragi making outlandish comments about how pricey the PS3 is going to be but instead it was just a ploy to trick microsoft. Microsoft being the big tycoon it is I doubt it would've made such a monumental decision in regards to its pricing and distribution of SKU features on such a whim made by Kutaragi... whos pretty much losing it is he? anyway so I remember having a chat with a mate of mine about the new system being called Xbox NEXT and there being a HD version and a stock standard version. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=19615 I didn't know about the PC version. Anyone herd anything about the PC version to be released later on? I've herd Vista (longhorn) is going to be fully compatible with xbox360 so yeah.. Well....thos xps dell comps are better than the 360 and the ps3...depending on which u get. |

Actually, my brother has a new dell XPS 600, their top of the line gaming PC, and it is not more powerful than a 360. It is very impressive for the money though. The 360 is supposed to have nice functionality with a Media Center PC, but that's about it as far as immediate XBOX360/PC inter-operations. There is no current Desktop with the power of an XBOX 360, and not even close to a PS3, at least not if the video I've seen so far of PS3 games is legit. What I want is the Mouse and Keyboard that is coming for the 360. Then Call of Duty 2 will really be worth playing. As an aside, the PS3 is supposed to be shipping with a version of Linux as the operating system. The implications of that are fantastic and wide ranging. Go google it and have fun.
