wireless options for xbox live 360

We recently purchased the xbox 360 for our son. We would like to go wireless for the 360 live. I found some items on Ebay that I was looking for feedback. 1 is a download for our laptop that the seller claims will enable us to go wireless without spending 100 bucks on the adaptor. Anyone ever hear of such a program ? The 2nd is WIRELESS-G NETWORK ADAPTER XBOX+360 LIVE MICROSOFT NEW! (cut & paste direct from EBAY)for 44 bucks. Seems too good to be true ? Any feedback is greatly appreciated
